More Depression Era Cooking

In keeping with yesterday's entry, I'm boiling a big pot of bean soup tonight. I threw in a half a pepper that was leftover. At the end I'll throw in some roasted pork that had been in the freezer. So, I guess I had to buy the beans (2 bucks or so) and a can of tomatoes (a buck).
