All my emails, whether sent to professors or editors or whomever, have in the subject line "Reply Purely Optional - Only If You Have Nothing Better to Do!"
At least, so it seems, from the percentage of my emails that go unanswered.
I'll never understand that. I don't care if the answer is "No" or even "Fuck Off!"
But you got to hit reply. It's just expected. I think.

I've got emails in my inbox that are up to three months old. I think one is from you, actually. ;) I'm terrible with replies, if it isn't LBF or New Bedlam related.
Maybe that should be the next self-improvement project. o_O ;)
Nah, I don't even think you were one of the provocations. More them there professor-types. you know how THEY are!!
And speaking of New Bedlam - didn't I blurb that?
LOL - I do know! I had a reply to an email I sent in 2006, just after Christmas, from one of my instructors (not quite professor, that one). It was absolutely weird, getting that.
And New Bedlam, yes you did blurb that - well, Courting Morpheus anyway. That's the anthology, and we finally have a new publisher. :) We're looking at an October release.
The New Bedlam Project is the low-pay 'zine we started up in the meantime, and launched April 1st.
