My Method

For the last cut, I'm writing down the author's name, word count, and one phrase description. Thus:

"Author - 4100 words - zombie satire of reality TV" or
"Author - 3900 words - western" or
"Author - 5200 words - people being raised to be fed to zombie overlords"

(To take three random examples of plots I've seen.)

This way, I'll be comparing apples to apples, getting an assortment, and keeping an eye on the word count.

It's been said before, but I'm sure I speak for everybody when I say that we all really appreciate you keeping us in the loop.

But now I'm getting really nervous.

Any guess on when the final line up might be announced? No rush or anything.

That first one sounds great. You should definitely pick that one.

Oh well, I'm guessing shameless pandering won't get me there, but thanks for keeping all of us engaged in the process.

Thanks for keeping everyone informed about the cuts. That said, I'm very nervous and keeping fingers, toes, and everything else crossed.

I'm developing carpel tunnel from checking my inbox.

Good luck everybody!

Kim, I need your address, because I've misplaced it, because I have a case of your favorite beer that fall off a truck in front of my house, and it's in another room so I don't remember what exactly it's called.

I like John's method, too!

And for the record, though I don't think John knows this, my current favorite beer is from his state of Vermont.
