I am a professor of religious studies, and the author of several books on the Bible and theology. I grew up in New York, Virginia, and New Mexico. I attended St. John's College, Annapolis, MD (BA, 1988), Harvard Divinity School (MTS, 1990), and the University of Notre Dame (PhD, 1995). I live in upstate New York with my wife and two wonderful kids. Starting in 2006, I had one of those strange midlife things, and turned my analysis towards horror films and literature. I have written Gospel of the Living Dead: George Romero's Visions of Hell on Earth (Baylor, 2006) - WINNER, 2006 Bram Stoker Award; Dying to Live: A Novel of Life among the Undead (Permuted Press, 2007); Orpheus and the Pearl(Magus Press, 2008); and Dying to Live: Life Sentence(Permuted Press, 2008).

The suspense is now killing me. I keep doubting myself, wondering if maybe my submission somehow got lost out there in cyberspace and never actually made it into consideration at all. Guess there's nothing I can do but continue to wait. Regardless of whether or not I am included in the final antho, I just wanted to let you know what an awesome job you have done throughout this whole process, Kim. If only all editors were like you . . . .
I really would like to achieve as much fame as David Letterman before I have the kinds of problems he's had with people moving into his house!
I wouldn't be any trouble at all, honest. I'd sleep on the couch and take out the trash every once in awhile. And, I make a mean pot of Italian meatballs (family recipe). Not only that, but what if I told you that I could get you into a relatively clean, low-mileage Cadillac for mere pennies on the dollar?
It's funny how I've been absolutely calm about this up until the final days and now I'm chewing my fingernails off...
